Prior to establishing the firm Mr Wells successfully completed sixteen years in the Royal Marines, many years of which was spent at HM Condor, by Arbroath. For his final six years Mr Wells was in charge of the Security Dog Section. This is where he gained vast experience in the training and use of guard dogs and handlers, and to train the officers to provide a first class service at all times.

Controlled growth has led to numerous contracts throughout Tayside and Angus, many of them being long term. Added to these contracts are many agricultural shows, games and exhibitions throughout the area.

In 1996 after rigorous scrutiny of how the services were provided and how it was staffed Savat Security was awarded the Certificate of Service by The Guild of Master Craftsmen.
